Gen AI Policy

1 INTRODUCTION
(a) This document sets out the Generative AI Use Policy of Michael John Daniel ABN 77 817 172 921 trading as ‘OneSkill AI’ (referred to in this Generative AI Use Policy as ‘OneSkill AI’, ‘we’, ‘us’, or ‘our’), and you are ‘you’, the user!
(b) This Generative AI Use Policy applies when you use mobile application, an AI chat bot developed by us called the ‘NeuroTranslator’ ("NeuroTranslator"). This Generative AI Use Policy describes acceptable use, data handling, quality control, security, and accountability measures of NeuroTranslator.
(c) We may update this Generative AI Use Policy from time to time by posting an updated copy on our website and we encourage you to check our website regularly to ensure that you are aware of our most current Generative AI Use Policy.

2 ACCEPTABLE USE
2.1 INTENDED USE
Users may use the NeuroTranslator to:
(a) (Clarifying Communication Styles) the NeuroTranslator can help users translate language and interaction cues, making neurotypical expressions more understandable for neurodivergent users, and vice versa. Users can gain insight into underlying meanings, social cues, or implied context often found in conversations;
(b) (Building Relationship Understanding) learn how specific phrases or behaviors may come across to a partner, friend, or colleague with a different neurotype. This feature helps in adapting communication to improve mutual understanding in relationships;
(c) (Resolving Miscommunication) use the application as a tool to aid in analyzing and reframing misunderstandings that often arise between neurotypical and neurodiverse individuals, suggesting ways to rephrase or interpret statements to prevent friction or confusion;
(d) (Self-Awareness and Growth) allow users to input their own phrases and receive feedback on how these might be perceived by someone with a different neurotype. It’s a tool for enhancing self-awareness and reflecting on communication patterns;
(e) (Support for Specific Social Scenarios) explore specific scenarios like workplace interactions, family conversations, or friendships, seeking guidance on how to best approach or respond to sensitive topics based on their communication preferences;
(f) (Managing Conflict and Sensitivity) provide guidance on navigating sensitive topics or potential conflicts, helping users choose language that respects the neurodivergent or neurotypical perspectives involved.

2.2 PROHIBITED USE
Users must not use the NeuroTranslator to or do any of the following:
(a) (Harassment, Bullying, or Intimidation) formulate language intended to harass, bully, intimidate, or manipulate others. This includes any behavior meant to coerce, threaten, or exert undue influence on another person;
(b) (Deceptive or Manipulative Language) manipulate or deceive others, including exaggerating or obscuring truths, is strictly prohibited. The tool is intended to improve honest communication, not to enable deception;
(c) (Discriminatory Language or Hate Speech) generate or reinforce discriminatory language or hate speech. This includes content that discriminates against or marginalizes individuals based on neurotype, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
(d) (Invasion of Privacy) users are prohibited from using the tool to obtain or interpret information about someone without their consent, or to pry into sensitive topics where there is no permission to engage in such discussions;
(e) (Mental or Emotional Manipulation) NeuroTranslator is not designed for and must not be used to control or manipulate others’ emotions. This includes attempts to induce guilt, anxiety, fear, or shame in others through the tool's interpretations;
(f) (Violent or Threatening Language) NeuroTranslator is not to be used to create or translate violent language or threats, whether explicit or implied. It must not be used to endorse, justify, or promote physical, verbal, or psychological harm;
(g) (Illegal Activities or Fraud) be used for activities that are illegal, fraudulent, or in violation of local, state, or federal law. This includes any content that could promote unlawful behavior or deceitful schemes;
(h) uploading any personal or sensitive information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) without the consent of an individual or do any acts that would cause or is likely to cause OneSkill AI to receive unsolicited personal information;
(i) attempt to jailbreak or manipulate the NeuroTranslator; or
(j) do acts that go beyond the scope of our ‘Acceptable Use’ clause in our Mobile App Terms and Conditions.

3 DATA POLICY
(a) All data entered into the NeuroTranslator is stored on Firebase and OpenAI.
(b) OneSkill AI reserves the right to access the chat history in order to continuously improve the service provided to users.
(c) Our Privacy Policy is intended to align with the Australian Privacy Principles, GDPR guidelines, and accounts for the storage and processing of sensitive information.
(d) OneSkill AI may use application programming interfaces (APIs) provided by OpenAI. Data provided to OneSkill AI may be sent to OpenAI as part of the use of these APIs. You can find OpenAI’s terms and policies at Terms & Policies.

4 QUALITY CONTROL
(a) The NeuroTranslator is still in development and has a number of limitations. By using the NeuroTranslator, you acknowledge and agree that the following limitations and controls apply.
(b) The NeuroTranslator is still being trained to interpret complex social nuances and context accurately, particularly in highly sensitive situations. While it aims to facilitate understanding, it may not always provide precise or contextually appropriate translations, and its interpretations should not be considered absolute.
(c) Information that the NeuroTranslator provides will reference its source where possible. That said, the NeuroTranslator is not a medical professional. Users should always seek advice and assistance from their primary carer or relevant medical professional before relying on it.
(d) The OneSkill AI team are working on a periodic update system to keep the data used by the NeuroTranslator current. The frequency of these updates is yet to be finalised and we do not provide any guarantee about information provided by the NeuroTranslator being current or accurate.

5 DISCLAIMER
(a) By using the NeuroTranslator, you acknowledge and agree that the NeuroTranslator may give you advice, suggestions, information or assistance into the differences between difference neurotypes, based on the data it contains in its knowledge base. While OneSkill AI contains a knowledge base containing reputable and official sources of information, we don't give any warranty of accuracy, appropriateness or reliability that the NeuroTranslator provides. The NeuroTranslator is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
(b) Information and advice provided by the NeuroTranslator is intended to be general in nature and is not intended to constitute or substitute for medical or professional health advice. Unless required by law, OneSkill AI will not accept any liability or responsibility (including liability for negligence) for any loss suffered because of your or any other person’s reliance on any such information or advice.
